Every number comes from DayZu's own calculation, and every job is built as a real PDF you see before you export. What you see on screen is what prints.
Front and back, heads the right way
See both sides together before you print. The back is laid out in mirror position, so nobody has to remember to flip on the long edge for every job.
Saddle-stitched booklets
Drop in one file per page. DayZu orders the spreads for folding, lets you drag pages around, and adds creep for thick stock, by shifting or by scaling.
Adds the bleed that isn't there
Frame the good part of the artwork, pick the finished size (DL, 90 × 55, anything) and DayZu mirrors the edge out into bleed. The original is never touched.
Finds the cards in a proof
A customer sends one picture with the front and the back on it. DayZu finds both cards, splits them into front and back, and adds the bleed.
Sharpens soft images
Artwork designed with AI tools is often not sharp enough to print. Enlarge it 2× inside DayZu and compare before and after first. Nothing is uploaded.

Privacy
Customer work stays in your shop
DayZu runs on your shop's computer, not on someone else's server. Files, customer names and pictures go nowhere. It only goes online to check for a new version.

Before you try it
Does it need the internet?
No. Everything runs on your computer; it only goes online to check for a new version. Shops that don't allow internet access still get every feature.
Do our customers' files go anywhere?
No. Files, file names and pictures stay on your shop's computer. Even AI enlarging runs there.
Does it run on a Mac?
A Mac version is on its way for the beta. Tell us which computer your shop uses, so we can get it to you first.
How is it different from InDesign or Kodak Preps?
DayZu does one job: getting files ready to print, fast, for the everyday work of small and mid-sized print shops — business cards, flyers, menus and saddle-stitched booklets. Little to set up, and in your language.
Is the beta free?
Yes, free for the whole beta. We'll tell beta shops well before we start charging.
What if a job prints wrong?
During the beta, check the front and back proofs in DayZu and print one test sheet before every long run. If something is wrong, send us a screenshot and we'll fix it fast.
